A Little Bazaar- All season
Spend your saturdays this march strolling through Mill No. 5 in Lowell. Originally a textile mill built in 1873, it has now been repurposed as a location for small businesses, a cafe, theatre, and marketplace. Shop the work of small businesses and local artists and vendors any time between noon and 4!
The Key to Music- March 7th

Have you ever wanted to play an instrument but havent had the time? The Understanding of Music Seminar Introductory Lecture taught by Duncan Lorien explores a revolutionary approach to learning music in a weekend! This lesson applies to all styles of music and instruments and welcomes everyone from beginners to professional musicians. Registration is entirely free if you sign up online, and only $10 at the door.
Call for Entries: Teen Poetry & Flash Fiction Contest- Feb 9, 2018 to Mar 30, 2018
Is your child a gifted writer? For the 8th year in a row, the Library’s teen advisory board will be holding a poetry contest for Essex County teens grades 6-12. This year’s theme for entries are outerspace or unexplored territory. Applications are due April first so tell your little writers to get started soon! A reception will be heled on April 12th to announce winners, award cash prizes, and hear from our guest speaker, historian and playwright, Rob Velella! 2018 Irish Film Festival- March 22- 25th

Celebrate and support the best of Ireland and the Irish on screen with the 18th annual film festival! Held at the Somerville Theatre in Davis Square, festivities will begin at 7pm. Pricing ranges from $10-85, and all access passes are available now!
Madagascar-A Musical Adventure- March 30th
Looking for a fun way to spend time with the kids? Starting at 10am, witness the wacky adventures of your children’s favorite zoo animals come to life! Enjoy 70 minutes of this live theatre adaptation of the hit movie Madagascar.The event will take place at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly. Admission is 12$, and tickets can be purchased online.
22nd Annual Winning Opportunities for Women (WOW) Conference- March 30th
Looking to be inspired? Join fellow women attending Merrimack Valley’s leading Women’s Growth Conference.
