This March we are celebrating a very special member of our team, Megan Poverman. Megan is from Peabody, Massachusetts and works for Phil Richard Insurance as an office assistant.

Just a few months out of high school and in between jobs, Megan turned to her friend for advice. She grew up with, and is still to this day, best friends with Phil Richard’s second-youngest daughter, Jordan. After hearing Phil was in need of a receptionist, Megan expressed interest and was offered an interview, and then a job. “Four years later at his agency I still really appreciate his faith in me from the start to be a part of his company”.

What makes Megan such an amazing part of the Phil Richard team is her dedication to the people she works with. She is a very loyal and honest person, and her engaging personality is a great addition to the work environment.

One of the only, but biggest challenges she claims to face at work is getting in on time! In high school she was voted “Most Likely to be Late to Graduation”, and in fact, she was. However, running a few minutes late does not stop Megan from being the driven young woman she is.

Always striving for greatness, Megan is also enrolled as a part time student at Bunker Hill Community College. She is studying her two passions, music and psychology. You may not know this about her, but Megan has a great appreciation for all types of music- especially Rap and Hip-Hop. She enjoys singing and playing piano and even has a couple original songs in the making! “Even the simplest tasks seem so much greater with music. I believe it can move mountains” she says.

When she’s not working or attending class Megan enjoys spending time with her friends, snowboarding, or any other activities that can keep her moving. One thing she wishes people knew about Phil Richard Insurance is that they rock! She truly appreciates everyone on the team, and refers to them all as all around amazing people to work with.  We are very thankful to have her and excited to announce Megan as this month’s employee spotlight.
