About Us

Phil Richard & Associates Insurance, Inc. was established in 1988. It was started in an 8X8 foot room with Phil, a typewriter, and a two drawer file cabinet with no customers. Since then, Phil has had 4 daughters, been married to his wife Patti for 25 years, and the agency has grown to 9 employees with annual premiums of $6 million. Although these are no small accomplishments, the statistic that Phil truly prides himself on is the agency's retention ratio. We retain 97% of our clients every year. We attribute this to our excellent staff and of course the companies we represent. Our goal, and in fact our mission is to provide our clients with a fair price, but more importantly, superior coverage and superior service. This is our commitment to you and I can assure you that we take this very seriously. This is the reason for our success.

Phil and other associates in our office are members of and contributors to many local organizations such as Kiwanis Club, Special Olympics, Official Insurance Agent of Danvers Family Festival, Clara & Harvey Pillsbury Foundation, LeTip International, Peabody Girls Youth Softball League, Mass Association of Independent Insurance Agents and Arbella's elite Chairman's Circle.
